Mike Dillard Tip On "List Building"
Mike Dillard made a great comment in his book Magnetic Sponsoring when he mentioned that to cultivate your list you should do something completely different than everyone else is doing...
Most people pay good money or spend valuable time generating leads.
But then they send the same canned emails to their list and they don't convert.
Mike's idea was to move your fresh leads through the pipeline by keeping your emails short and referring them to a newsletter that you can have up on your website (your own website), and there you can niche market by providing better content and links than you can on an autoresponder email letter series.
Provide valuable info to your list this way and you also position yourself as someone that is professional and can help them solve whatever challenge they have on their mind.
People always want to know how YOU and your system can help them make money.
By showing them a "marketing 101" type of series that educates them you build credibility and can convert a better percentage of these people into business partners later.
It also helps you clean your list of a lot of unserious, tire kicking types that would otherwise just waste time.

That's where the business is at...
