1. First is to arrange a seminar preferably to be held in a hotel. The company can call on a celebrity that is using the product to promote it. At the end of the affair, aside from the free snacks and meal, it will be nice to give away some promotional items that are being sold so customers who like it might want to join.

2. Second, the entrepreneur can send out newsletters. This can first be distributed to friends and family members who will then forward these to other people who may be interested in the products that are available.

3. Third, the person can participate in a trade show. The company can take care of the costs of renting a booth. If this is not the way that business is done, the entrepreneur can go there instead and just talk to the participants then offer calling cards. It is possible that someone might call after the event is over.

4. The fourth option will be for the individual to attend a social event. This could be a minor league baseball game, a weekend barbecue at a friend's house or a snack after church.

These venues are ideal because it allows the entrepreneur to get close with members of the community and customers are more likely to trust someone rather than a complete stranger. Again, it will be very useful to hand out a few calling cards.

5. The church or the local community may publish a newsletter weekly or monthly. The entrepreneur can write an article about something interesting then inject the products being offered by the MLM company.

6. Participating in online forums and discussions may also be useful in local mlm lead generation. The person should make sure that this is something one can relate to be able to blend in with others in the group.

7. Another method of local mlm lead generation is by buying this from a marketing firm. These can usually be found on the web or in the phone directory. This is either sold or rented for a period of time and has a certain fee.

8. If the entrepreneur has a website, it is best to update this constantly with new articles, products and promos. This will keep regular customers excited that can help spread this by word of mouth to friends and other members in the community.

9. There are other websites other than what the entreprenuer has set up. It is best to take advantage of this by having tie ups. The person will have to negotiate with these programmers so that everyone is able to get something out of it.

10. The last option is to advertise. Posters can be made at home then placed in community billboards or on signposts. This must be catchy with the name of the entrepreneur and the contact number.

Using not one or a combination is the best way to achieve local MLM lead generation. Some may do well than others but it still helps in recruiting people to join.
