The speed at which technology moves is frighting at times and exciting at other times. Here at YourSolutions.net, llc we are committed to keeping pace by integrating the latest technologies into our companies Direct Selling / MLM Software.

We’ve recently started test marketing (with an unbelievable reception) our QR Code, SMS, Facebook Ap, and Branded Tool Bar technologies.

QR CODES:

A matrix bar code originally created by Toyota in 1994, and now becoming a ubiquitous viral marketing and informational tool. Open any magazine and thumb the pages and you’ll find advertisers with QR codes. The full application is yet unrealized, however, consider the following possibilities. A rep sitting on a buss could either A- give the passenger next to them a business card B- verbally give them a website address to write down or type in C- display their own personalized QR Code encoded with their replicated website from within the MLM / Direct Selling Software on the screen of their mobile device and allow the ‘prospect’ to take a picture or use a QR ap to get the embedded replicated website address directly into their mobile browser through their camera. C is obviously the quickest way to get the prospect into a video or website.

SMS:

Text messaging is becoming a central method of communication within Direct Selling and MLM. The latest version of xFlow our core software technology allows broadcast SMS to reps, or clients alike. Imagine sending a personalized SMS to your reps notifying them of how close they are to their next title or qualification, how much commission they have earned so far this month, that a new person has enrolled in their downline with the new enrollees phone number and encouraging them to call right then to congratulate the sponsor and welcome the new enrollee to the team. SMS will become a vital tool for all Network Marketing companies.

FACEBOOK Ap:

Imagine that you could take control of your brand image in Facebook, that you could provide pre-written informational pieces to generate interest in Facebook, imagine you could reach the Facebook friends of all your reps… What you are imagining is available from within the xFlow Network Marketing Software platform available from YourSolutions.net!

Social marketing is the core of what Network Marketing / MLM is. Most companies struggle with effective Facebook policies, they often loose control of their brand and message. NO NEED! Ask us how we can connect your MLM Software with Facebook.

Branded Toolbar:

WOW! One of the most exciting tools available to companies is a centralized communication, reporting, and branding tool bar. Reps download and install a tool bar for their Firefox, Internet Explorer, Chrome, or Safari BRANDED with your Logo… tied into your communication system with simple links to the reps back office and reports.

Keep your brand in front of each new rep. Every moment they are browsing Facebook, Twitter, Amazon, or Google… your logo and immediate access into their back office is front and center keeping them engaged.

Tweener [tween-er] n. — A company too big for affiliate marketing and too small for network marketing.

Smart companies know the future of marketing includes “social selling”, tapping individual social networks with a great product and story. Direct selling is an optimal way to do this, only most companies who see promise in the model do not necessarily need the infrastructure of a full-fledged direct selling company.

Recently, demand for a deeper social selling has attracted to our industry a new kind of company, the “Tweener.” No it’s not a new juice product aimed at 9-to-11 year-old. Rather “Tweener” refers to a company seeking to leverage the deep incentive selling of network marketing while remaining light on their feet like an affiliate marketer.

This concept could vastly extend our industry to products that would never have been viable for us before. In my opinion, no industry is better suited for person-to-person selling (digital or otherwise), than network marketing. We invented social marketing, if only the analog kind. Mainstream companies are indeed recognizing this, thus the new wave of interest in the industry is emerging will likely have a huge impact on us in coming years.

Industry experts are aware that a majority of products that might be a fit for the direct selling model can’t sustain an actual network marketing company. To fit into the model, a product/service must meet a fairly rigid set of criteria such as product line expandability, price and margin parameters, etc., and must meet more subjective requirements as well. Some products are fine in and of themselves but are either a one-off or just don’t have enough momentum-building fuel to power a full-fledged company.

Let’s say you’ve developed a diamond-encrusted golf ball you KNOW would be a hit with golfers. But to sell the ball, you need to be able to tell the story of why the diamonds will improve your golf game, difficult to do on a retail shelf. You’ve determined direct selling is the best way to get your story told and incentivize multiple levels of members. Yet you don’t possess the substantial knowledge (or substantial cash) it takes to start an MLM company, and anyway it seems overkill to build a national selling force to sell a little ball.

Several companies using this “tweener” model have launched their platforms, and demand is growing. Right now the focus is on retooling currently available solutions; admin back office, simple generational incentive/commission payouts, ecommerce shopping carts including subscriptions and autoship/continuity orders, and affiliate and replicated websites. All delivered without the extra baggage of operating a full-bore network marketing company.
Technology for Tweeners

I have been talking with industry technology consultant Mel Atwood (who first alerted me to this trend) about how the industry can capitalize on this this opportunity. We agree the answer lies in an incentive commission structure to make sales work at multiple selling levels.

The software used to manage the commissions is key. Software systems are widely available for companies for both MLM and affiliate marketing, but none that we have found are built for these Tweener models (what Mel dubs “Social-driven Marketing”). With network marketing, software is all or nothing and with affiliates it’s nothing much at all.

For your diamond-covered golf ball you’ve considered affiliate marketing, say, offering a $10 commission for each one sold. But it’s difficult to be heard above the noise and the affiliates don’t seem to care about your super cool golf ball. They just want to make a buck and move to the next product. And you can’t incentivize affiliates beyond one level of sales.

E-commerce is another channel. But online advertising can get very expensive and is cost-prohibitive in competitive markets like golf. Some golf equipment companies spend hundreds of thousands a month on pay-per-click ads and search for a few crumbs of online leads and sales. This may shut you out at the start.

So, the opportunity for direct selling is in flexible commission models that work with surface-level social selling, where a simple transaction is afforded easily and multiple layers of recruiting and selling can take place.

This software adopts the most compelling aspects of both selling models, leveraging the fast-and-easy commissioning of affiliate marketing and combining it with the levels-deep army-building of network marketing.
For your golf ball marketing, the end result of all this is a motivated field sales force, with multiple ways to make income, who are excited about your product and are paid well for recommending it to others.

We are putting together a white paper on this subject for presentation at industry conferences. If this category describes your company or product, I’d like to talk with you.

FINANCING NOW AVAILABLE ON MLM SOFTWARE
Your MLM Software Solution is now more obtainable than ever.

SANDY, UT –March 3, 2010– YourSolutions.net, LLC is now offering the option to finance the licensing on all Enterprise Software Packages through strategic partnerships with financing companies.

Clients of YourSolutions.net, LLC will now be able to secure monthly payments, rather than have a large capital outlay up front. Companies that want to apply will be subject to credit approval like all financing. However, because of YourSolutions.net, LLC’s industry experience, reach, and years of advocating for standards within the network marketing community YourSolutions.net, LLC has multiple channels for financing, including private funds as a final option.

“We’re very excited about the new possibilities that financing options will offer our clients,” said Jim Kitchen, vice president of operations, who oversees project development. “Many solid companies have found it difficult, in these economic times, to get the proper expert technology they need to run their companies.”

“Access to capital has been increasingly difficult to find over the last 18 months,” said Mel Atwood, CEO of YourSolutions.net. “Well, companies need look no further. The financing options we have will make it easier for start-up MLM companies to stretch their start up dollars, while not compromising the future of their company by selecting inadequate technology and consulting partners.”

YourSolutions.net, LLC is an innovator in the Multi-Level Marketing Software space who has pushed the envelope and developed powerful, robust, and saleable technology. Their technology has been the platform used by several thousand network marketing companies to track and operate a sales force of independent contractors marketing and selling products or services directly to consumers. This new wave of innovation by YourSolutions.net, LLC is just another indicator of the positive influence they will have for years to come within the Network Marketing community.

By: Steve Jankowski

The Arbonne Bankruptcy of January 2010 is a real blow to people in the MLM world. It is a shocker for the members of that long time business. The economic conditions today have made it very difficult for people to survive in the MLM world. The attrition rate in most businesses
that cater to people’s wants and not needs make it very difficult to maintain a business. Clearly, Arbonne found it difficult to rise above the failure of people to stay in their program.

The real key to survival in the home business
world is to learn how to market affordably and to have a product that people really need. As an attorney, I totally understand the travails of a large business like Arbonne, and Bankruptcy is often a necessary way for a large company to make it through difficult financial times. It is somewhat encouraging for Arbonne members that the company filed for reorganization and not liquidation, but oftentimes companies are not successful in coming out of such reorganizations.

When I first decided that I wanted to learn how to market online, I looked at many different companies. I checked out companies that offered investment advice (a bad idea in this economy), nutritional supplements, healthy juices, travel packages and information.

While most of the product related companies had compelling things to offer, I was concerned about the attrition that would happen when people could not afford the products any more. I became fascinated in the information or “knowledge” type products. I intuitively knew that if there was a way to make money by teaching people how to make money online, that that type of product would sell in ANY economy.

I was right. I started learning how to effectively market online. I learned how to market any product using totaly free methods. I very quickly achieved success and soon started teaching others to do the same.

Arbonne distributors that are dazed and confused about the ramifications of the bankruptcy should take heart. This may be an opportunity for them to re-tool their home businesses
and increase their wealth in these recessionary times. The bankruptcy of Arbonne may be the best thing that could have happened for many successful distributors that have been struggling with the issue of retention in their Arbonne business.

Learning how to attract traffic online to any business and then converting that traffic into sustainable long term income that grows no matter what happens on Wall Street is a skill that people want. It is a skill that millions need. It is a skill that wise Arbonne distributors will think about pursuing.

Yesterday, Michael was going to be debt free. He just knew that this opportunity was the right vehicle, and now was the right time. Today, Michael sits at his desk starng out the window, frustrated and depressed. Today, the dream seems so impossible. “Maybe,” he thought, “I just got caught up in the hype; I will never get out of this rut, and really make something of myself.” Tomorrow, Michael will either join the ranks of wishful thinkers, or he will shake off the dream demons, and start fresh at making his dream a reality.

Much of the decision will have to do with his inner resolve and the retaining wall built by his new company. There are six key areas that a company or upline can strengthen to ensure that new Associates find the resolve to continue their quest for success. These six areas can be identified with the word, R.E.T.A.I.N.: Relationship, Empowerment, Training, Affiliation, Inspiration, and Nurturing.

    * Relationship – Building a deep commitment based on need fulfillment.
Relationship begins when two people connect based on mutual need fulfillment. The relationship deepens as the connection is reinforced by people being there for each other. It is imperative that we realize that relationships only deepen with continual connections as simple as just keeping in touch by making a personal phone call. When things get tough or discouragement sets in, without this vital relationship, people often just give up.

    * Empowerment – Providing the right tools and a system for success.
Dreams rarely come true without the proper tools and a success system. You don’t hire someone to build a skyscraper and then give him a pick and shovel. Tools and systems must match the dream–the greater the dream, the more important the tools and system. Tools and a system are the vehicles for success. One of the reasons so many people give up and quit is they are trying to build dreams with sandcastle tools.

    * Training – Insuring this vital component is woven into the fabric of success.
The key to any success is the training available to build resolve and skills to reach the dream. Training must be a vital part of any system, getting you to the top, and keeping you there.

    * Affiliation – Making sure the new associate feels he belongs.
One of man’s deepest drives is to be a part of something where he feels significant and appreciated. This need for intimate community is one of the greatest bonding factors known to man. People are willing to make greater sacrifices to succeed when they have the power of community driving them.

    * Inspiration/motivation – Keeping the dream alive.
We all run out of fuel during the week and need a strong dose of inspiration to pick us up and get us going again. Inspiration rekindles the fire, and refocuses back to the original dream. The inspiration can come from a meeting or a simple dinner with a few folks who share their dreams.

    * Nurturing – Providing support and encouragement.
Nurturing is being there for someone on a continual basis. Nurturing is the process of providing the essentials for growth without waiting for someone to ask you. Parents don’t wait until a child comes to them and tells them she is hungry. Rather parents know that part of their responsibility is to make sure their child receives proper nourishment. Nurturing is providing a solid, reliable support system that provides the essentials for success.

Closing the Back Door

Have you ever purchased a product that you knew was the most exciting, most important product you had ever seen–a product you knew you could not live without, only to find it sitting on the shelf, unused, along with a host of other products that you thought you could not live without. The appeal of products wears off soon after they are purchased. Sometimes the products are so useful that people become totally committed to the product. Other times, people question whether or not they need to continue to lay out $30-$50 a month for a product that they are not sure they need. Customer retention requires more than just an initial pitch. It is important to keep before a customer the compelling “why” that led them to invest in the product in the first place.

Once again, using the word R.E.T.A.I.N., lets look at six ways you can insure customer loyalty: Relationship, Education, Trust, Affirmation, Influence, and New Products.

    * Relationship – Bond with your customer through need fulfillment.
A relationship lasts long after the newness or novelty of the product wears off. Those who continue to develop a relationship after a person purchases a product will find a loyalty that no competitor can penetrate.

    * Education – You must keep their compelling why for purchasing alive.
People buy on impulse based on reasoning at that moment. They buy into the product’s story. This story must be told and retold in fresh ways to keep a customer loyal to a product. Even the most devoted product evangelists can be lured away by a product that promises the same results but is less expensive or more potent.

    * Trust – You must be someone the customers can trust on being there when the they need you.
To build customer loyalty, you must become a valued resource for customers. When you become their personal consultant by having the answers they need and by keeping your promises, your counsel becomes well worth the few dollars they pay out for product.

    * Affirmation/Appreciation – You must ensure the customer that you value their relationship.
You must make sure they understand that the value is not related to profits. We all have the basic drive to have our needs fulfilled, but we also have a basic drive to be needed.

    * Influence – Points of contact – You can’t influence someone you don’t stay in touch with.
Something or someone constantly influences people. Every TV commercial and every newspaper ad is designed to influence you in some manner. The media or company with the greatest ability to influence the decisions of its audience wins the market share. It should be obvious that if you do not contact your customers, you lose your influence over them. Every contact is a potential point of influence and should be used wisely.

    * New products – You keep customers interested in your company by introducing new products.
One technique to retain customers is to introduce new or improved products. This gives you an opportunity for another point of contact, and gives the customer one additional reason to stay with your company.

Developing a Retention Strategy

1. Work with the new Associate to cross the $300-$500 income plateau.
2. Make training a priority.
3. Develop a caring organization that makes people feel wanted and needed.
4. Develop need-sensitivity within your organization.
5. Give people a reason to stay with the company or with your organization.
6. Practice relationship cultivation.
7. Find ways to educate the customer: seminars, workshops, emails, and mail outs.
8. Keep in touch.
9. Conduct highly motivational, inspirational events.
10. Discover new products and new reasons to be a part of your company or organization.

The wise business person understands the value of a customer or distributor. The cost of replacing a person is far more costly than retaining those who are already a part of the organization. The priority of retention is second only to recruiting in building a solid, growing residual income.

7 Simple Marketing Tips
By Bob Leduc

Here are 7 simple marketing tips to help you boost your sales and profits quickly. All are easy to use and work for any business.

Tip 1:

You can constantly improve the effectiveness of your advertising by allocating 80 percent of your advertising budget to proven promotions and 20 percent to testing new things. When something new works better than your proven promotions, move it to the 80 percent group and start testing something else in the 20 percent category.

Tip 2:

Customers are usually receptive to more offers from you immediately after they buy. Follow up every sale with another offer for a product or service related to the one they just bought. Many will accept your offer …producing an easy sale for you.

Tip 3:

Make your sales presentation more believable (and more effective) by converting general statements into specific descriptions. Instead of “quick and easy”, explain exactly how quick and how easy. Also, reduce round numbers like “15 pounds” into specific odd numbers like “13.7 pounds”. It sounds more authentic.

Tip 4:

Most people are more interested in getting value for their money than in getting a bargain. Find some low-cost ways to enhance the perceived value of your product or service. Then test raising your price. Don’t be surprised if both your sales and your profit margin go up.

Tip 5:

Search for and test some alternative marketing methods you may be overlooking. That’s how one internet marketer discovered direct mail postcards. They proved to be a highly effective and very low-cost way to generate traffic to her web site. Plus they conceal her marketing efforts from competitors who can see (and copy) what she does online.

Tip 6:

You can make your sales message more effective by presenting everything in terms of the benefit it provides to customers. For example, don’t just list testimonials from satisfied customers. Point out that those testimonials prove you have an established history of delivering what you promise.

Tip 7:

Include a Questions and Answers page on your web site with the answers to frequently asked questions. It enables prospective customers to get instant answers to their questions …and reduces the number of questions you have to answer yourself.

Plus One More… A Bonus Tip:

Avoid making any sales claim that sounds exaggerated …even if it is true. A bold claim creates doubt in your prospect’s mind and jeopardizes the sale. Reduce any bold claims to a more believable level.

Each of these marketing tips reveals a simple, proven tactic you can use to boost your sales and profits quickly. All 7 are easy to use …and have proven highly effective for any type of business.

An MLM Recruiting Article by Doug Firebaugh

There are many people out in the MLM industry that are having some real struggles in their recruiting efforts, and it seems to be something that is industry wide.

Many people are saying it is the times. The economy. It was September 11. It is harder than it used to be. People have changed.

Many reasons I have heard… over and over.

But in reality, people are people, and always will be, and few things ever change. There seems to be something I have noticed though that is happening that can KILL your recruiting in MLM.

It seems to be happening more to the folks that have been in MLM for a while, than the new folks, and it is hurting a lot of paychecks.

There seems to be a poisonous lack of belief in what folks are doing.

And this had me puzzled, as it seems stronger than usual. And today I felt lead to write about this, and why I believe it is happening.

There are 5 basic reasons why folks are struggling today when recruiting in Network Marketing, and it does not matter who it is, male or female, or how successful you have been or have not been.

But is also involves not only BELIEF… but also the word EASY.

Recruiting is easy, if you believe it is, and you believe in what you are doing. But if you don’t, then the fruit of that is struggle. And there are many people who use this as an excuse to ever get the results that they want. It is very convenient to but into what others are saying.

Here are the 5 reasons that folks are struggling today:

1) Its easier to Believe that it WON’T happen… than it WILL.

That is so true. Many folks fall into the trap of believing what WON’T happen – vs. what WILL. And many are sabotaged by the easier route and effort of believing that it won’t.

I call it The Path of Easiest Belief – the path most take in this industry.

And through Life.

It is easier to hang onto the excuses that we have and believe that recruiting won’t work, than taking the time to GROW ourselves into the level of belief that ATTRACTS Success, vs REPELS it. And when you have that kind of belief, your prospect can feel it radiating from you and your voice… and presence.

Are you taking the EASY Route?

2) It’s Easier to Believe what is considered Normal than Abnormal.

Success is abnormal.

Most people in life don’t Succeed, they Succumb. To the Lies from other people. About how you can never build a business in MLM. Only the Lucky Few ever get to the top. And if you do succeed… it’s abnormal. You are going against the grain.

I prefer to call it “Growing against the Grain.”

You must grow beyond those Normal people that are holding you back.

Recruiting is a process based on Communication, and your Belief and Conviction of that Communication, and what is considered Normal in life.

Is easier to believe in Normal, than what is considered Abnormal.

Are you just Normal – or flat out Abnormal and refuse to believe and succumb to the lies of failure and mediocrity?

3) It’s easier to believe what you have been told a lot, than told a little.

You will never do it.

It’s too hard.

Recruiting is bugging your friends.

You don’t have what it takes.

Recruiting and MLM is waste of time.

When are you going to get a REAL job?

That is what we all hear. (smile)

But what we need to hear is:

You can do it. You have what it takes. Listen to those who have succeeded… not those who have succumbed.

Are you?

4) It’s easier to believe in others- than you.

We when are recruiting, we believe that others are smarter than we are, more educated than we are, more savvy than we are, and they know more about ourselves than we do. And it impacts our recruiting tremendously.

We have many people who influence us, and we care about. But here is the million dollar question.

Can they take you to where you want to go in MLM?

Or…

Can they STOP you from going where you want to go in MLM?

Both answers are called a CLUE!

5) It’s easier to LEAVE… than BELIEVE.

Most folks don’t stay:

At what they do in life, and Network Marketing.

Why?

In recruiting, we take this Leaving belief and habit with us, as we see most folks leave their success path in most of what they have attempted in life.

It’s easier to create an EXCUSE, than to keep going and create a new BELIEF.

And we fall prey to that in MLM.

Are you recruiting prospects with an EXIT sign in your eyes? Deep down… are you expecting you will eventually leave this industry , because it is easier to Leave than believe? Do you honestly doubt it will work?

Understand – people FEEL first… then HEAR.

What are your prospects feeling from you? A solid Hard Core Belief in what you are doing? Or a solid Path of Easiest Belief that they are turned off by?

Believe that recruiting is EASY- and Recruiting will be. Believe that is it HARD- and it WILL be.Believing in recruiting may be a little hard for you now, but it is a whole lot easier than struggling through life – the rest of your life… just to be what is considered “Normal.”

Is that what you REALLY want for you and your family?

Your Call…

Blessings,
